Mobylize 100K Challenge
Education, at its best, does more than inform. It inspires.
That's the principle driving the Mobylize campaign. We know that students equipped with the powerful, accessible Moby concept will be inspired to learn, create and connect as never before. But we also know that even the best hardware depends on dynamic applications to perform at its peak. So we came up with the 100K Challenge.
It's our invitation to developers to create engaging educational apps for the Moby prototype. Ideally, the apps will leverage advanced graphics, video, social media and/or games. But it's not necessary that the applications be finished, fully functioning products. We welcome apps in the idea stage—Marvell developers will provide engineering and technical support to bring the brightest concepts to fruition.
Winning Combination
The 100K Challenge will name three winners. Submissions will be accepted October 11, 2010 through November 11, 2010, when they will be evaluated by an independent panel of judges, all accomplished in the fields of technology and education.
First place will receive1 $50,000, second place $30,000 and third place $20,000. Winners will be chosen by the Mobylize committee and will be recognized with red-carpet treatment from Marvell at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, January 6-9, 2011.
Win or not, all entrants in the 100K Challenge will enjoy a landmark opportunity: to create apps for Google's new Android tablet platform, the operating system for the Moby concept and other tablet computers.
